Given that Hawai'i is a football-only member (Big West for everything else)


so the MWC can hold a CCG in football, it kinda makes sense the MWC would want to have 12 members in the other sports. 12 members is better than 11 members in terms of scheduling purposes because it makes things easier and cleaner. If the MWC wanted to shore up basketball, which I think you are right about or at least it is another reason for the move, then could New Mexico State be on the MWC's radar?
