I think ODU, UMass and Liberty should take the lead...


to start a new eastern conference and convince a few defections from other G5 conferences like Buffalo, Marshall, Appalachia State, UNC Charlotte, Coastal Carolina, Georgia State, Georgia Southern, FAU and FIU to make a 12-team conference. They would all be on the east coast and ODU v Liberty could become an automatic rivalry. Maybe convince JMU, Delaware, Lehigh and Towson to move up to fill in the mid-Atlantic footprint to give them a 16-team conference.
