cannot reach back. His latest accomplishment is a trend up and might make a difference, but the truth is one out reach usually doesn't get it done. He needs to reach out continually (at least weekly) with the goal of making contact and setting up an unofficial visit with the coach.

Honestly, if they don't have that kind of persistence in them, they don't have a chance unless they have won or placed really high at some national events. I am guessing he has not placed nationally and would need to prove himself however the coach wants to get a serious look.
