but the nice thing about cord cutting is most (if not all) of the services are month-to-month and don't require one year or two year contracts to get the best deal. Allows maximum flexibility - I'm only going to subscribe during football season.

Another point is that streaming services face much more competition, keeping their prices in check. I only have two cable company options at my house for traditional cable, whereas online I can choose from 5 or 6 streaming services (and probably more to come)
