Big XII Region's lagging population growth is root of its football woes.

Very interesting article coming from a Pennsylvania reporter. He calls it a collection of little prairie towns across the grasslands. The article shows a map of population trends. Not a lot of green in the midwest either. He may want to consider that for Penn State.
