The Premise is to provide a basic income for basic needs


Nobody would get rich off of the basic income but it would keep some workers out of poverty whose jobs have been taken by robots. You'd still have to have a real job to buy nice stuff. If you took away all of the entitlements that the gov. pays out and just provided a basic income it may even save the gov. on entitlements. However, it would encourage some people to not work.
