More than my fair share, I think


1st job - laid off due to company closing the doors.
2nd job - left on my own due to company being in bankruptcy.
3rd job - laid off due to company closing the doors.
4th job - left on my own after company was sold (big culture change I wasn't in favor of).
5th job - laid off due to business conditions. Kinda surprised company hasn't closed the doors yet.

Been unemployed a total of 7 months in my life. In retrospect, the uncertainty was far worse than the unemployment. Heck, I might have even welcomed the few months I had off the last time if I'd known how and when it was going to end.


But maybe the real moral of the story is to short the stock of any company I work for.
