I see where you are going with that thought, but that is a false proposition. For every advance in winnings bracket = 0.5 pt more than consolation. Given that and the fact that each higher placement as an AA is worth several points more, then the extra bonus pts "Don't mean a thing". Also, if we are in the consolation bracket, there is a greater chance PSU is in the winner's bracket. We must win and keep on winning and hope PSU, OKSt, OSU, and IA drops a couple of stinkers.
