OK, Lounge investment gurus who don't hide money in the yard, a question: When you can start to taste retirement, and you have enough saved for a comfortable - not rich, but talking enough to cover expenses, a little travel and med bills assuming nothing bad happens - what's your preferred allocation? On the one hand, you have enough now, and don't want to risk a big market downturn. On the other, you know inflation is your enemy, and you still have 5-6 years to go. Is the regular old 60-40 enough? Do you take a chunk, like $250k, and park it somewhere safe and let the rest ride? What's your strategy? Curious because I'm actually, finally at this point, and have mixed feelings. TIA.
