Can someone explain the allotment logic to me?


How is it that the NCAA allots only three spots to the ACC at 141 when the conference has 3 wrestlers among the top 7 nationally; yet they allot 5 spots to 157 when the conference has only Sal and Atkinson (in only one poll) in the top 20. 184 strikes me as odd too with 3 ACC wrestlers in the top 20 (Ness is #20 on Intermat) but only 2 spots. How does this make sense?
