No spring compressor required to change the back shocks


Only the fronts. Removing the entire front strut housing isn't too difficult. But you do have to compress the spring to change the strut inserts, which isn't difficult but can take a while using those types of spring compressors. The McPherson strut compressors that are mounted on the wall of shops make the job really quick. Unfortunately only shops have a real need for those devices.
