If your looking for a job, having a history on LinkedIn can be helpful but


not necessarily critical. I cahanged jobs two years ago and the organization Who hired me checked it out to see if there any red flags or unusual postings. It didn't get me the job but it also didn't eliminate me. The other guy they considered wasn't on LinkedIn at all
