Possibly, but that would get old long term.


I think to make that work long term there would need to be regional members close to Texas that provide a familiarity as well as a division for Texas to lead like it does the Big XII. It would make the transition much easier for Texas.

My choices for that division would be Texas, TCU, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Tulane. I still have an affinity for New Orleans. With those others, Tulane wouldn't diminish anything. This would leave the opportunity for the Big Ten to look at Kansas.

Absent the whole Texas idea, I think that the ACC should refocus on plugging market holes we have left on the east coast footprint. UConn, WVU, Navy, and perhaps Cincinnati and Temple.
