ISIS is not a building that you can destroy or a territory that you occupy
It's an ideology. The religion aspect is just one aspect and not the main one.
The key is what the media always says when they talk about people who were "radicalized". The religion hasn't changed, it is the interpretation of ideas and the reaction to those ideas that changes.
Under the covers, this is as much a battle about economics as it is about control and other topics IMHO. And that is not a battle that you win with the military. ISIS type groups thrive among chaos and destruction. [Post edited by HokieAl at 07/18/2016 1:13PM]
