No it isn't. Only one state lost population from 2010 to 15, WV. As you


noted. However, your number lost is WAY off. WV lost about 9000 people TOTAL from 2010 until 2015. To Old Line's point, connecticut has grown, albeit slightly and is around 5 million people less than virginia. massachusetts is 6.8 (or so), even they aren't anywhere close.

you quote many numbers in your initial post, yet i find no evidence of anything close to that in the official data i link to below.

i suspect you only looked at the number of people leaving, but ignore the number of people coming in. a big mistake.

Go to the census site below and look at the excel file.
