In 2006-07, Tech received....

$9.3 million from the ACC and a total of $10.8 million after bowl games and NCAA MBB Tournament. That was double what Tech brought in from the Big East ($5.1 million). From the 2006-07 data, Tech received an equal share.

Tech had to pay the ACC a $2 million entrance fee and pay the Big East a $1 million exit fee. Maybe the ACC entrance fee reduced the earlier payouts for Tech from 2004-2006? BCS Bowl appearances also helped Tech increase revenue during their first decade in the ACC.
