Missouri stability within the SEC

Missouri bolting to the B1G is an often time heard reference on these conference boards outside the SEC. Not so with Missouri fans I see on SEC boards, I have never heard one mention the B1G. I had bad blood thrown at me here when I mentioned FSU ever in the SEC, bad blood based on rumor. Rumor because there was never a public reason given as to why the SEC was shunned by FSU back in 1990. It all had to be left to rumor and of course rumors of bad blood have flourished over the many years. A solid reason for bad blood between the B1G and Missouri was very public after the B1G took Nebraska. The B1G literally publicly refused the addition of Missouri. Whatever, if the B1G wants Missouri, go for it. No $50 Million exit fees or 20 year GOR waits with the SEC. Just bye bye and don't let the door hit your butt on the way out.

I heard several times that West Virginia approached Slive about entering the SEC right before Missouri entered. Slive refused them for academic reasons is what was stated. Sankey might think different on West Virginia but I doubt it. The B1G can take West Virginia along with Missouri.. That would beat Maryland & Rutgers as far as football.
