One of my former coworkers grew up in NYC...he was a ND fan


Pretty sure he was catholic, so that may have had something to do with it, but Syracuse was an afterthought.

He was primarily a Giant/Yankee/Knicks fan, just like in Miami, most of the people are Phins fans.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. It's extremely hard to find a Hurricane fan in a Miami sports bar. Guessing you may find students in the bars around CG, but anywhere else in the city will be filled with FSU or UF or fans cheering any number of other SEC, B10, ACC, (& ND) schools. UM = crickets.
