To capture full interest in Pennsylvania, ACC needs 1 more.

Pittsburgh gets the attention in its metro area of Western Pennsylvania, and Penn State fans do pay attention to what Pitt is doing since they are a rival. But the ACC is shut out of the Southeastern Pennsylvania/Philadelphia area without either Penn State (preferrable) or Temple (could live with if they sustain recent football success).

Syracuse delivers New York as well as anyone could. Notre Dame fills any gap there for football. Without Georgia, Georgia Tech does about the best that the ACC could do in Georgia. When Miami is doing well, they carry South Florida. Neither Florida nor FSU move the needle there when Miami is doing well. My question about Florida would be whether USF would help the ACC make Tampa an ACC town. It's a big media market by itself.

The ACC of course has Virginia and North Carolina covered.
