It boils down to this. Does the SEC want the ability to

get 2 teams in.? The answer is yes, they have stated that, so the SEC and Notre Dame are allies for that.

Does the Big 10 want us full time in the ACC? The answer is a resounding no (Having the ACC flag in Chicago would be a blow). So we have two of the biggest boys on the block as allies for different reasons.

I think we try to over think this and don't look at the conference actions.

Big 10 gave us a partial deal and is content with what we got right now.
