Not sure if just being in the USN makes someone a Navy football fan


Annapolis grads are a small minority of officers. Personally I wouldn't pay $8/month just to see their games, but I probably would for ACC games just to see VT, if I lived outside of Virginia's footprint.

Generally speaking, I'll pull for Navy in their games (because I have several good friends who went there), but I wouldn't pay to see them. I have friends & relatives who have graduated from SEC schools too, and I wouldn't pay a penny to watch those semi-pro games. (Although I'm forced to pay for the SECN now with the other ESPN channels in my current Cox package, I refuse to watch it on general principal. I'm not forced to pay for the other conference channels, just the SECN...and I'm POed.)
