The 7 April release of the directors cup has VT in 22nd with 432.5 points.

For the five sports that have been completed since the last release, Men's and Women's basketball, fencing, Women's ice hockey and Men's swimming, VT placed 19th in men's swimming and collected 55 points.

For basketball, you have to make the NCAA tournament to collect points. I'm optimistic both those teams are moving in that direction!

VT is the 8th highest ACC team in the standings.

The next two releases of the standings come in the next couple of weeks and will reflect points for Women's Bowling, Men's Hockey and Men's and Women's Gymnastics. As we don't compete in any of those sports we obviously won't be collecting any points in any of them.

For the spring sports, Men's and Women's Tennis and Track and Field Teams should collect some points. Hopefully the softball team as well.

We finished in 35th last year. Hoping for a higher finish this year.
