Use CrashPlan for free and backup to a friends computer. It will

do backups to an encrypted file on another computer and your friend doesn't have access to anything in the backup. However if you have a lot to backup, disk space might be an issue. Only pay for CrashPlan if you use their cloud storage.

I have had CrashPlan for a few years and use it to backup to an external disk I have as well as to their cloud which is unlimited storage. I haven't tried the backup to another computer but it is a free option.
