Matt Brady and his wife thought it was important to have their kids in Catholic school and the closest one to Harrisonburg was in Charlottesville. There was no "didn't embrace JMU culture", it was a family decision important to both of them. And, JMU knew it before hiring him. I had lunch with Matt in Harrisonburg. He knew everyone in the restaurant.

JMU just wanted to start fresh. They let a guy go after he won 21 games.
