Outside of Greensboro its just another tourney, and all the community involvement is work that the ACC should be doing to market the conference. They are getting it for free.

While DC was great, ACC did terrible job on marketing the tourney. There was no marketing with signage publicity and media relationships. Many hotels didn't even know the ACC was there. for DC for an event to extend metro they need to put down about 50k to extend the service to later games. ACC was taken back, with that, and acted to metro, that you should be privileged to the have the ACC. This is one of the largest metropolitan areas of the country, acc is just another event. Greensboro simply nothing to do, but wish a year for a silly tourney.

ACC better ramp up its game next 2 years,its NY and new york makes DC look like small potatoes. Swofford, work the marketing instead of sipping another bourbon.
