and he's booked into the upscale performing arts centers with reserved seating. Gone are the days of $12 tickets at the Norva.

Fantastic songwriter and better performer. Very engaging with crowd. Can't go wrong with any of his catalog. "Dress Blues" is my all-time favorite.

His wife, Amanda Shires, is quite an accomplished musician and violinist and has an excellent album, "Down Fell the Doves."
