If ESPN defaults, it could be the best thing that ever happened to the ACC


I do think if the ACCN doesn't move forward, and it may not, the network rights fees will be adjusted to reflect market value; and if they are smart, the ACC will negotiate to have its unused tier 3 content returned as part of the deal.

ESPN cannot afford to have a competitor hold the rights to major college sports in the ACC footprint. They will do something to keep the ACC happy.
