in the second and 3rd periods...poor passing, couldn't handle the puck, etc...our forwards are lazy in general. Caps fans think it is all on the defense but the forwards have been outplayed most games since the all star game...basically because they get outworked. Our defensemen are adding to the scoring...without that and we would have very little offense...oh well I don't expect much at the deadline...if the Caps do anything else it will be to overpay for another 6/7 defenseman (which would tell me they don't have a lot of confidence Carlson will be ok for the playoffs) or another 4th liner.
