Based on the article, could the assumption be made


that ESPN values the Big Ten and SEC more than it does the ACC? If so, then it makes more sense for ACC schools to join those respective conferences than schools from those respective conferences to join the ACC. Personally I have always thought the ACC, Big Ten, Pac-12, and SEC should work together to form 4 16-member regional conferences; ACC (East), Big Ten (North), Pac-12 (West), and SEC (South). There would be minimal overlap in territory between the 4 conferences. The only overlap would be between the ACC and SEC (SC, GA, FL). Although there might be some overlap between the Pac-12 and SEC (TX) depending on how the Pac-12 expands to 16.
