I think it was a bit of mental fatigue IMO…& relaxing a bit

After we clinched ACC
She was dominant vs BC on Friday then again on Sunday UNTIL we got that 8 run lead. It’s my opinion that what makes her great is her ability to grind out outs in tough close situations. Once we’d clinched & seemingly then also had game in hand on Sunday, seems to me she maybe just lost that mental edge & just grooved some pitches as if “ok just throw it over the plate now & see if they can hit it” type attitude…which there’s nothing wrong with when the lead is that big. MOST of those runs given up came in the last 5 innings she’s pitched (9 ER & 4 HR). Vs Liberty it may have just been how well Dot Richardson had prepped LU for Keely.

On the other hand I am slightly concerned how she’s pitched lately coming back on the third day…or 2nd full game a team sees her.
I trust they’ll get her ready & right for postseason.
