There is another no cost way for strong players to play travel ball. Most all travel teams often need an extra player on occasion due to vacations and injuries. The travel ball teams will invite a "guest player" to fill in at no cost to the player. Some good players do not join any specific travel ball team, but put out the word that he/she is available for guest playing. Sometimes, they get more than one offer on a weekend. All good players can play travel ball if they want to regardless of their financial situation.
