A small point of clarification.

Most of the talent evaluation is done with the summer travel ball circuit, not high school.

There are 3 reasons for that. 1) College coaches are busy coachig their own teams during the HS season, and 2) The best collection of top talent is with the summer travel ball teams, not high school teams, and 3) If a coach watches a HS game, he/she is ony looking at one player, while a coach at a summer ball tournament gets to see several college prosects.
