Was disappointed GM killed the Chevy Volt

I thought that was a great idea, and perfect for those who didn't want the range anxiety of an EV. Now we learn GM is out of Bolt batteries, and has none to replace any that's in the fleet.

Small cars would be great for "around town" EVs, but I guess companies don't think they will sell with their limited hauling capacity.

As for small commuter cars, had hoped the Elio tandem seat 3-wheel vehicle would make it to market. It was a completely enclosed vehicle with a tiny 4-banger, and the plan was to have them simple enough to be serviced at almost any garage. Just did a search, and found they are trying to bring a 3-wheel EV to market.
