Thanks Edge, they are obviously not as popular as they used to be.


But, I have to say that I would have thought peppy little 2 seater sports cars would be a perfect early form factor for EV cars, great acceleration and handling and less need for range. Ford is making 200K F150 EVs this year but no one is making small sport car EVs. Must be a perceived lack of demand, who knows? Me, if I'm buying a truck I'm burning gasoline in that mother and towing whatever I need for as long as I feel like driving, including that little EV powered sports car for when I just want to make short fun runs.

BTW, what happened to hybrids? Is that "transition model" dead? I drive 30K miles a year, could make a hybrid work but hell no to an EV, not possible anytime soon.
