The little turbo I-4 engines are putting out 275+ hp, and...


...300+ lb/ft of Q*. That's more than enough to move any vehicle. Now if you're looking to haul stuff, it's best to buy something with a larger engine.

*Now there are some smaller I4 turbo engines that were built just for fuel economy. Many of those are under 200 hp.

I think Mercedes recently introduced the most powerful I-4 turbo engine in a production vehicle...pushing ~400+ hp.
