Generally in the legal system the only time you win
Against a golf course is if the golf course changes the hole and makes it more destructive or dangerous to the homeowners around it. Buying a home on an existing golf course generally doesn’t give you protection against stray balls. You knew it when you bought it.
However you might find a jury of folks who think your deserve a paycheck for your troubles but often these cases lose on appeal. Most states have generally found golfers or golf courses not liable for stray shots unless you can prove malice.
