I think the truth of the matter is nobody is really sure what is going on because there are a lot of moving parts yet to be resolved and lots of media types are throwing s#!+ against the wall to see if anything might stick or give them a read which way the wind is blowing. TV execs are in the dark, collegiate conference officials are in the dark, schools are in the dark and everybody is waiting for a sign, be it a new Big10 deal, something useful from the NCAA Transformation Committee or several other segment players. Right now it just drives message board discussion and traffic with little to no tangible action. Things might loosen a little in the May/June timeframe with conference meetings and the release of 990s, although the latter may not be as meaningful as normal due to all the COVID anomalies.
