Heard a NASA or other space group expert the other day talk about how we know there are hundreds of thousands of galaxies, and the vast majority have solar systems, and most of those have planets, and 20% of those are in the habital zone. And now we know what to scan as a set of variables that indicate life is likely. And with Webb we will do so, then target planets in other ways to see if we can confirm life. Maybe we pick up their version of I Love Lucy? It will be mindblowing. Though the biologists argue that even with all that possibility, we are probably unique and alone. Love this stuff.
