We do have some serious meat left on the bone. UVA, as always will be very tough and they are right there with us (positioning wise), Louisville is explosive also, and Duke is starting to do what they seem to do every year on the back half.....we actually have some fairly tough non conference games left as well, with JMU, Liberty, and Kansas State. Villanova is not terrible (but they will get our weekend starters/pitching staff--so that will be a little different than most non conference games). That leaves Marshall as probably the weakest left. But some tough games left for sure.

This past weekend showed we can games in a different manner. We really had to win on the mound this weekend. That type of versatility can really help in the postseason. We really had not been in that situation in several weeks. Our defense continues to be quietly very good, as a whole. The offense still pressures teams, even when not scoring, and hopefully that continues. We have put ourselves in a good position from a postseason standpoint, and if all three phases continue to progress, the Hokies may be a tough out from a postseason standpoint......and we may sneak into having an extended Home season in May........
