-U23's we plan to take a decent group to Ohio, as well as a bunch of Juniors to try and make the World Team and win some medals in Rome (Flynn, Henson, Ulrey, Stewart, Catka) w/ James Green coaching!
-NIL will most likely negatively effect the RTC Model, there is only so much money in wrestling!
-Will continue to focus on all areas of our wrestling, but specifically getting away from bottom!
-CKLV doesn't look good, but FLO is planning some pretty awesome events that we will be a part of! Robie and I are hard at work solidifying an awesome schedule.
-We will protect our own from any poaching, but yes, it is a problem!!
-We will always continue to look for new athletes to join the SERTC, at the moment no one besides Korbin is on the radar, but during the Open and Trials is where a lot of these conversations happen. We went after James blindly and he was an awesome addition to our room, excited to see who could be next!
-32 man roster, probably 25 on some type of scholarship. From books to a full ride and everything in between. NIL, instate tuition & academic stipends will play a role in everyones books when trying to compete with the blue bloods of college wrestling.
-We are blessed beyond measure with amazing fans, supporters, and alumni, so thanks to all of you for always supporting Hokie Wrestling, and we are busting our butts to try and take this thing to the next level. Excited to see many of you at the banquet on Saturday, and once again don't hesitate to email me if you have any good ideas to help generate more support! As some of you know I try and reply quickly to our die hards!!
