Coming out of HS I wouldve said similarly as I do for Ward. It wouldve been best for him to start out as a 4 and then slide over to the perimeter more as he progresses. With Camden, it is a little bit different from Ward too though as Camden needs to be able to defend 1-5 if he wants to be a 3/4...I am not sure thats currently the case. Ward can defend 1-5 (5s would be emergency switches), but he cant shoot it like Camden and would need to improve there to move to the perimeter.
If VT can somehow land both, I think you might see Camden defend 4s, but Ward play 4 offensively and defend wings.
Offensively, Camden is ideally a 2/3. He just needs to show he can defend there
