Mr grandfather lived about 1/2 mile from Bristol Motor Speedway.

When the race was in town you could clearly hear it, but inside the house there was no noise issue at all. Honestly, outside the house there was no issue. You could talk in slightly raised voices. It was no worse than the noise level at a football game during a run-of-the-mill play.
