Than a few years ago, I hadn’t noticed so many people in pain around me until a lot of time in hospitals as part of care for my dad, and then my mom, over the last 5 years. It’s been painful watching it. Even after what I thought was gained immunity after Iraq and AFG.

I guess it’s also the senseless nature of it. Now, we’re dealing with carloads full of migrants hitting trees or poles, or sometimes just crashing bc kids are driving. It’s completely senseless and horrific what happens. Just bc they’re told to drive fast in the dark.
