Tech isn't alone....


the transfer portal is wreaking havoc to many rosters. A lot of coaches don't have 15 scholarship players on their rosters because everyone wants playing time. 13 seems to be the max for many coaches. It seems like 3,4 or even 5 players transfer from women's basketball programs every year. How many freshmen have left after their first year at Tech? 1,116 women's college basketball players have transfered out during the 2021-2022 school year. Kenny has a solid starting five for the 2022-2023 season, so adding transfers won't affect the program too much but I agree with you about 2023-2024 season. The successful coaches will adapt to the college athletics "free agency". They'll have to be good at developing team chemistry ASAP. That will be a tough task.
