Yeah, this was a HUGE weekend, and as student athletes, it would be naïve


to think the ladies didn't get caught up a bit in the enormity of it all. During the Saturday game ( I believe in the top of the 3rd actually) we were making noise for Keely to get the last out, last strike...it was cool...but her pitch went into the dirt. She slammed the ball in her glove when she got the return from catcher. Armchair sports psychologist that is me (LOL), was thinking she was saying 'c'mon Keely!! clear your head...clear your head'...or maybe she said 'i wish those yahoos in the stands would hush so I can focus lol' or none of the above...

My thought is SB, along with other non-football sports, is more about precision and when you are too jacked or caught in the moment, it's detrimental. I know the girls love home games, but might like the away games a bit more because they do offer less pressure and more focus. What do I know...

But they did what needed to be done, so 'nuff said on that!
