Man ..I produced a fair amount at the peak of my operation...


But never got close to turning a profit, at least in a big picture sense. My recommendation would be just to enjoy the hobby and not worry about whether you're a business or a hobby.

And I pretty quickly found that raising mice was generally a money loser too. I would breed mice during hatching season but relied on frozen from RodentPro for the rest of the year. I could buy them cheaper than raising them, and raising them was fairly nasty business.
