For tax purposes. I have corn snake morphs, and sticking mostly to kingsnakes- MBK, locality Eastern chain, Nuevo Leon, locality Gray-banded, California, and Arizona Mountain. I also have boas but no real interest in breeding them.
As a hobby anything sold gets taxed at a higher rate and according to my tax guy it's much harder to deduct losses & expenses.
