But Dennis Gates isnt the type to recruit with illegal benefits. He is in Year 1 coming from Cleveland State and Im sure he sold the ability to be the focal point of a new regime. Gates has to rebuild the roster in his image, so it doesnt matter what they do or do not have coming back, he is going to play who best fits his style.

Hes also a very personable guy, so thats something that lends well to recruits. If he had made the visit to VT, I bet VT probably lands him, but Missouri sold their program well and locked him up before he made any other visits including his "dream school" Florida
