Ok Super Nerd (lol), let me rephrase, it can be fixed with simple methods.


I used to to pitch years ago, in addition to 1st base. I used to crow hop too, and my pitching coach helped me to correct it with either a piece of rope or black rubber, a few inches in front of the pitching rubber. He had me to drag my foot through the rope and or the black rubber so I could feel it. If I missed it, then I crow hopped. We didn't have fancy tools/equipment then like teams have now. But my crow hop was eliminated in a couple weeks. Daily practice and routine until you don't think twice about it. My pitching and command of the strike zone improved. Emma is super talented, she can do it in short period of time, no problem.
