I hear ya. But when I say “injury” I mean invisible arm fatigue

We expect/hope to go deep into the postseason. The odds of Keely losing a little mustard on some of those key pitches goes up (mathematically/scientifically) after she throws a certain number of innings. We’re not talking formal injury—just cumulative fatigue that could potentially become more likely (and obvious) in May.

Totally right that she seems to actually improve with usage. But at some point late in a season, that’s fools gold.

Anyway, point is, I think in a perfect world you win tomorrow without having Keely throw much. Part of this is about making sure Emma gets back in her groove and puts the grand salami she gave up out of mind.

But we can all have faith in Pete, he has more (and better) information/data than all of us do. Whatever he decides, you can be assured there’s solid reasoning behind it.
